New, I was also surprised by the amout of fat people in the States. Some of them are 200-350 kg. I was also surprises by the vehicle speed on highways - you are going to be smashed dead if you drive slower than 170 mi/hr. Also I was greately pleased with the sweet desposition of Americans. They are generally very nice and never verbally hurt anyone (like it happenes on this board at times), they are always in high spirits and make compliments to each other.
And of course I was really surprized by the grocery stores and shopping malls in America - that amountof goodies I've never seen in my life before. And the last...is their restrooms (excuse me, I need to tell about this). The restrooms are so clean and neat that one can live there!
