| It's ok to care about it. My point is that it'll be about as relevant to your personal life as who wins olympic gold medals in Sydney. In this country as in most others it's the people who contribute money (legally or otherwise) who will have access to politicians, maybe that's what democracy is all about!!! If you're hoping that your vote will somehow make a difference, or that it matters if Bush or Gore is president then you should wise up!! All of the hype in this election is meant to deceive people into thinking that there's a difference, there isn't!!! You think you have democracy in America? Not really, the only thing you get to do is to ratify the choice of either the Republican or Democratic party, is that democracy?? I would say that the Ukraine is more democratic in that it at least has a greater number of viable parties than the US. Is the Ukraine democratic?
